Bose introduces the Smart Soundbar 900
Nachdem die Bose Smart Soundbar Ultra im letzten Jahr endlich die Bose Smart Soundbar 900 abgelöst hatte, soll jetzt die Bose Smart Soundbar 600 eine Nachfolgerin erhalten. Der Name lautet hier dann einfach Bose Smart Soundbar. Zugegeben, ein wenig verwirrend ist das schon, aber im Grunde wird es fortan dann vor allem die Bose Smart Soundbar und eine Ultra-Variante geben. Natürlich ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass noch weitere Ergänzungen zum Line-up hinzustoßen.
The Smart Soundbar 900 puts you in the center of your music or movies in an entirely new way. By combining custom arrays, dipole transducers, and low-profile transducers with Bose spatial technologies, it produces a layer of realism no other speaker can duplicate.
While conventional Dolby Atmos soundbars create sound “overhead,” the 900 does more. Bose PhaseGuide™ technology adds other dimensions just as precisely, placing and “pinning” distinct sound to the right and left where there are no speakers. So the helicopter hovers above you — while the actors run past you, not across your screen. Or the singer is standing center-left when performing — and you hear them performing center-left in your room. When there’s no Dolby Atmos content, the horizontal spatial effects are just as effective, and Bose TrueSpace™ technology takes over for the vertical experience, remixing signals to add “height” without adding a ceiling speaker.
The Soundbar 900 is a mere 2.3" high, just over 4" deep, and 41" long. It features an oval-shaped design, wraparound metal grille, tight seams, clean lines, and a polished, impact-resistant tempered glass top. It fits beautifully under televisions 50" or larger.
Cool ist, dass die Bose Smart Soundbar ein Feature der Ultra vererbt bekommen hat – den KI-Dialog-Modus. Dank maschinellem Lernen kann ein Algorithmus Stimmen von der restlichen Tonspur trennen. Das Ergebnis: Klare Dialoge, ohne die anderen Klänge zu verzerren. Dass das klappt, haben wir im Test der Bose Smart Soundbar Ultra schon feststellen dürfen.
Bose hat sich aber etwas Pfiffiges einfallen lassen: Du kannst sie mit den Bose Ultra Open Earbuds koppeln. Die Open-Ear-Kopfhörer stören dank der offenen Bauweise dabei nicht den Filmgenuss. Können in Kombination aber als Rear-Speaker verwendet werden. Da sind wir schon gespannt, wie gut das funktioniert. Übrigens: Das neue Feature soll per Update dann auch irgendwann die Bose Smart Soundbar Ultra fit für die offenen Kopfhörer machen.
