Apple iPhone erhält viele Neuerungen und AI-Features endlich auch in Deutschland durch Update auf iOS 18.4

Das bisher größte Update des Jahres für das Apple iPhone ist da, und bringt Apple Intelligence endlich nach Europa. Das umfasst AI-Features wie Genmoji, die ChatGPT-Integration oder die Priorisierung von Benachrichtigungen. Auch abgesehen davon sind spannende Neuerungen mit dabei.

Apple hat heute Abend damit begonnen, iOS 18.4 an alle kompatiblen iPhones zu verteilen. Das Update kann ab sofort direkt über die Systemeinstellungen unter Allgemein --> Softwareupdate heruntergeladen und installiert werden. Das Update bringt Apple Intelligence nach Europa, zumindest auf dem iPhone 16 (ca. 819 Euro auf Amazon), dem iPhone 16 Pro (Max), dem iPhone 15 Pro und dem iPhone 15 Pro Max, ältere iPhones können die AI-Features nicht nutzen.

Apple Intelligence kann unter anderem Texte zusammenfassen oder umschreiben, Emoji anhand einer kurzen Beschreibung generieren, Bilder in Image Playground erzeugen, ein Erinnerungs-Video in Apple Fotos schneiden oder Fragen per ChatGPT beantworten. Neu ist auch die Möglichkeit, besonders wichtige Benachrichtigungen zu erkennen und hervorzuheben, damit keine zeitkritischen Nachrichten untergehen. All das klappt in iOS 18.4 nicht nur in Englisch, sondern auch in Deutsch.

Auch abgesehen von den AI-Features bringt iOS 18.4 einige Neuerungen mit. Allen voran kann die Fotos-App nun bestimmte Bilder ausblenden oder Fotos sowie Alben flexibler sortieren. Die Podcasts-App erhält ein neues Homescreen-Widget, das entweder einen bestimmten Podcast, oder häufig gehörte Podcasts anzeigen kann. Die Apple Home App unterstützt nun endlich ganz offiziell Saugroboter, allerdings ist das auf Roboter mit Matter-Support beschränkt.
